During Modernism week a selection of architecturally significant homes are open to the public. We visited the Frank Sinatra Twin Palms home, the Albert Frey house on the hill, an interior design show and toured various Palm Springs neighbourhoods atop a double decker bus with an "over the hedge" view of some great homes. The stories of the people who lived in the homes were as interesting (if not more) as the architecture itself. Just love the view from the bedroom in the Frey house. The house was built around the boulder on the mountainside and you really feel like you are above it all and part of the landscape.
